DPSP APAC 2025 will connect industry specialists, academic researchers, and business leaders across the Asia Pacific to discuss emerging issues and innovations in power system protection.

Our venue for the conference is the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and we will have three IET journals working with us on this conference. These are IET Generation, Transmission and Distribution, IET Smart Grid and High Voltage.

Tutorial day: 7 January

Spend a whole day focusing on protecting the evolving grid.

The morning session examines the protection of power systems that have a high penetration of unconventional sources, while the afternoon session explores the human aspects of system protection.

Main conference: 8 - 10 January

The main conference days are your chance to hear from thought leaders in power system protection, and to learn about the latest research, results and innovations, from a programme of peer-reviewed presentations.

Technical visit: 11 January

The Environmental Protection Department (EPD) is building the I·PARK1, Hong Kong's first waste-to-energy (WtE) facility for treating municipal solid waste that is located on an artificial island in the sea off Shek Kwu Chau.
