More than 200 power system protection engineers joined DPSP Global 2026, the 20th edition of the conference, for a packed week of technical learning, knowledge sharing and networking.
The programme featured a full-day tutorial, three days of peer-reviewed technical papers and expert panels, alongside networking opportunities, 15 sponsors and exhibitors, and a technical visit to National Grid St John’s Wood Power Station and the London Power Tunnels.
Experts from leading organisations shared insights on key challenges shaping power system protection, including renewable integration, substation digitalisation and virtualisation, Inverter-Based Resources (IBR), fault location and lessons from recent network incidents.
