The 18th IET International Conference on Developments in Power System Protection

DPSP APAC 2025

Delivering power system resilience in an uncertain future

8 - 11 January 2025 | Hong Kong

Over 240 power system protection experts from 23 countries met at Hong Kong PolyU to learn about and discuss the latest developments in power system protection.

Key topics from the conference included achieving net zero for power systems, digital substations, fault location for distribution networks, improving protective algorithms, and how protection systems are changing as renewable sources increase.

Delegates also enjoyed extensive networking opportunities, including a conference dinner at Hong Kong’s exclusive Cordis Hotel. On the final day of the conference, some of the attendees took the ferry for a technical site visit to the waste-to-energy facility, I Park 1.
