DPSP Europe 2025 Conference venue

Bizkaia Aretoa- UPV/EHU

DPSP Europe 2025 will take place at the Bizkaia Aretoa of the University of the Basque Country, also known as the Paraninfo (assembly hall).

This building is situated in the heart of Bilbao. It is of modernist architecture designed by the architect Álvaro Siza. It is a part of the urban ‘renewal’ project that has transformed Bilbao in the last two decades into a “post-industrial” city.

It is significant for its architectural features and the urban transformation it has contributed to – the regeneration of the previously industrial area of Abandoibarra.

Address:

Bizkaia Aretoa
University of the Basque Country
