Temples and monuments

The Tian Tan Buddha, known as the “Big Buddha”, stands 23m high and is one of the most recognisable sights in Hong Kong. The atmospheric Man Mo Temple is one of Hong Kong’s oldest temples and a declared monument. And don’t miss the Chi Lin nunnery, rebuilt in 1998 and made entirely of wood, but without a single nail.
